Kitefin Shark Jaws
This Kitefin Shark Jaws measures 3 inches wide and 2.5 inches tall & 2 inches deep. The Kitefin shark is related to the cookie cutter, named because of the way that they attack other fish, biting and spinning 360 degrees biting a perfect circle of flesh from their prey. They often leave their prey wounded but not dead - well not straight away.
The Kitefin shark has the most unique jaws out of sharks, and they are often pictured as this one is - upside down. The larger triangular teeth are in fact that of the lower jaw. The kitefin shark's teeth are amazingly interlocked with each other & they therefore shed their teeth as a whole row.
This Sharks Jaws has only 3 rows of teeth on the lower jaw and 3 on the upper jaw hence the reduced price compared to others.
